Work and Passion

I love to see new technologies born everyday and help people towards a better living. We live in a such incredible time where paced of technology has never been so fast before. I took my Electrical Engineering degree in University of Diponegoro majoring Information Technology.

I am quite lucky to have jobs on IT field, first I worked as an Linux Instructor in Posix Linux Training Center in Semarang (2005), and then as a system develeper in Telkom Divre 4 Semarang (2006), and now as an IT Telco Engineer in PT. Bakrie Telecom, a national telecommunication company, based in Yogyakarta (2007 – present). With my exeperince, I continue to seek further challenges, to broaden my view towards IT world.
I currently still finishing my Master degree at University of Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta, majoring Information Technology, especially CIO (Chief Information Engineer)

I believe to the fact that IT in enterprises has been evolving and undergones a shifting in its functions. IT is not only positioned as a supportive group, like data computation or process automatization, but it has been considered as a crucial asset and has significant contributions in determining company’s business strategies. Problem that arises in this adoption and implementation processes of IT is how to align between IT process and services with the business process.
and that is exactly where the CIO kicks in
