I had fun once, It was awful<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Wah sudah tahun 2014! Dan post terakhir di blog ini adalah dari tahun 2012! Waduh skip setahun.. berarti genap setahun juga ngasih \u00a0sedekah ke Hostingan. Eh tapi at least domainnya aku pakai sebagai alamat email. Ah anyway.. sudah lewat sebulan lebih untuk ritual resolusi apa tahun ini ya.
\nBut let me slip a simple question :<\/p>\n

“Ask yourself, Are you now the same man with you one year a go?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kalau jawabannya YES, berarti anda apes.
\nKalau jawabannya NO, berarti masih ada lanjutannya, jadi lebih baik, apa lebih buruk.<\/p>\n

Yang pastinya, untuk sekarang ini, saya mengangkat kepala, dan menjawab “NO”. I’m not the same man. It’s been only for like 10 month since I quit my nice and easy job and wandering into world of uncertainty. And it’s been one hell of a ride from there. Back there, 10 month ago, I was just your average local IT Guy. Lots of free time and enjoying the life of Magabut<\/abbr> in the office. And how about now? I can not say that I’m better in career now, since I’ve burnt my ship of career security, but I have changed. I went places, I took responsibilities, I lead, and I solve problems. Many things that I couldn’t even think of in my previous state.<\/p>\n

I’m stronger.<\/p>\n

I’m ready to face 10x more danger than I used to be. Same apply to my family, My wife. I Couldn’t be more proud of her, with things that she’s been starting. We’re each paving our road to a better future, for our family.<\/p>\n

Your current state is doesn’t matter, Doesn’t matter how big you are, or how small you are. The one you should think is “Are you Moving?” Or just carried away by the drift of time, towards death? But of course let me remind you, your are not your job. Many things are important as well. Maybe you start a family this year? Maybe you have a baby this year? Maybe you accomplish a degree this year? Maybe you learn a new language this year? and many things.. One definite step forward for every time is the one that matters.<\/p>\n

I’m not a poetic man, and I don’t know if it has something to do with my writing above, but I found this one is super cool, Invictus<\/a>, written by William Ernest Henley in 1875. Also check out the comic in 9gag<\/a>. Some dude create tribute comic for Nelson Mandela based on this poem.<\/p>\n
